There is a limited yet very functional set in the ASCII and Extended ASCII character sets. I think we could stick to those for a lot of communicated needs to maintain a smol web with less garbage. This would certainly lead to some issues with other languages, and I have a byte on that, but later. In short, we have the tech and knowledge to GET RID of so much, rather than add more complexity.
