byte 2 - A Hypertext Typsetish Markup?

I explore terminology, and intent of this contraption. It involves grids of texts, not sizes of paper or screens. It is a typeset method that can favor monospace fonts, but can also be a way to convey messages in different typographical ways with an easy method to get it out.

The goal is Grids of Characters

This is the main tenant of the text display on the client side. The client being safe viewing down to a TI-84 calculator. That isn't a requirement, but the markup text makes this simple enough to implement into a protocol string in my noob opinion- it should be curl-able actually if your other end was running the service and display could handle it. I am new to all of this, it is all word soup to me. I will do best to not butcher terminalogical items, but one should get where it is going if it is something interesting enough to them.

Internet of things level I think

I believe there are enough public wi-fi locations to run a simple public facing server on a vps, and have a simple text chat between low level tech devices, like RPI0, something conceivibly solar powered and runs a lean ass OS with the minimal browser to access the means of entering text, displaying it on the spec't grid (which is fully negotiable on both sides with this).
